RUBBER MATTING

There are  9  products.

Different grades of rubber matting and flooring are used throughout many different sectors for an even wider range of applications. We supply rubber matting for industrial work areas, leisure centres and fitness areas, public buildings, offices and homes. Common applications of rubber matting and flooring are to create a non-slip and impact absorbing surface which also relieves muscular fatigue and improves circulation.

Standing for long periods of time on hard floor surfaces causes muscular fatigue and constriction, which greatly reduces blood flow. In this situation the employees' heart is forced to work harder to pump blood through these constricted areas and his or her body begins to run out of energy.

If a person is allowed to stand on a rubber mat, their muscles will subtly contract and expand as they adjust to the flexibility of the mat. This muscle movement increases blood-flow and increases the amount of oxygen reaching the heart, thus greatly reducing fatigue. Rubber mats are ideal for this purpose.

By reducing an employees' energy consumption and easing fatigue, the user is able to carry out tasks for much longer periods.

  • RUBBER MATTING ROLLS

We supply rubber matting by the roll in different thicknesses. Rolls of rubber matting provide a non-slip surface for temporary or permanent installations. Can be easily cut to size and fixed to the primary flooring material with heavy duty spray adhesive. Available in black, grey, blue and terracotta.

  • RUBBER MATTING TILES

We supply a range of interlocking rubber floor tiles which are ideal for covering large areas. The interlocking modular system makes installation easy, and when not in use they can easily be lifted up and removed. The weight of the rubber tiles is sufficient to prevent any edges lifting and presenting a trip hazard. Bevelled edging strips are also available which connect to the edges of the mats. The ramped edges makes it easier for hand-carts and trolleys to pass over them. Edges come in male and female types to correspond with the edges of the mats.

  • ANTI-FATIGUE MATS

Standing for long periods of time on hard floor surfaces is very uncomfortable and causes physical fatigue. Leg muscles become static and constricted as they work overtime to keep that person in an upright position, and blood flow is greatly reduced causing pain and discomfort. In this situation the employees' heart is forced to work harder to pump blood through these constricted areas and his or her body begins to run out of energy. The long-term health risks associated with fatigue include spinal compression, damage to other joints and long-term circulatory problems including thrombosis, strokes and heart attacks. How do mats reduce fatigue? If a person is allowed to stand on an anti-fatigue mat, their muscles will subtly contract and expand as they adjust to the flexibility of the mat. This muscle movement increases blood-flow and increases the amount of oxygen reaching the heart, thus greatly reducing fatigue. Rubber mats are ideal for this purpose. Rubber mats can also improve blood circulation by insulating the feet from a cold floor, which is an added benefit. Anti-fatigue mats can improve productivity. By reducing an employee's energy consumption and easing fatigue, the individual is able to carry out tasks for much longer periods and with greater efficiency.
